Gaon is a three-Michelin-star restaurant in Seoul serving upscale Korean cuisine. Bicena is a one-Michelin-star restaurant in Seoul that also serves high-end Korean cuisine.
Both of these restaurants are owned by Tae Kwon Cho, a part-time Hawaii resident who held two events here last week, on Tuesday at Waialae Country Club and Thursday at MW Restaurant, in his global quest to promote Korean cuisine and spirit.
Hwayo premium soju is another creation of Cho’s, who believes Korean cuisine needs a proper pairing with Korean spirits.
